Group/Centre-Based Activities

Overview

NDIS group-based activities are structured programs that promote social inclusion, build confidence, and develop everyday life skills. Participants can join recreational, educational, and community activities such as science experiments, art, sport, cooking, coffee-making, science workshops, and social outings to reduce isolation and strengthen social connections.

Activity-based programs offer structured sessions in specialised settings, including cooking, budgeting, science, arts and crafts, and music therapy. Community-based programs focus on outings and shared experiences such as group fitness, beach days, bowling, and day trips.

Life skills workshops provide practical support with communication, public transport, and building peer connections.
